Kauai has a wide range of educational institutions and opportunities for everyone. There is a variety of both public and private schools.
Public schools range from kindergarten through twelfth grade and are scattered across Kauai. Private schools include these same K-12 grades but also include pre-schools and higher education.
The Kauai Community College, being renamed the University of Hawaii at Kauai, offers traditional classrooms teaching as well as high-tech distance learning facilities.
